hey guys, i'm new here but would like to say that the discussions here have been helpful as far as becoming familiar with diezel amps and i would like to thank all of you for it. And finally with numerous hours of playing, researching and reading about other amps, i have finally decided to become a part of the family and bought myself a vh4 last week(what a killer amp :D ). so once again, thank you all for being so enlightening, the guys at Ultrasound for answering all my questions, and diezel for making this amp.

on to the question: is it possible to record a vh4 in a line out fashion? i was wondering if i can use the series loop and go right into my recording unit without destroying one of them? see i know the series loop is not a part of the power amp section, and if pedals are connected to the series loop, then the signal is now different than the signal coming out of the electric guitar itself(am i right? ). if that's not a good idea, here's another little piece of information that may become handy, my recording unit(tascam dp-01fx) has it's own loop. Therefor, i can run my guitar into the recording unit, use the recording units loop to send the signal into the vh4(this would go into the IN jack, right? ), then the signal would go back to the recording unit. But what is the "out jack" on the vh4? so i guess long story short, is there an Out Jack built into the vh4 that would allow me to record? or should i be looking to invest in better mics?

well thanx for reading all that, and any advice would be appreciated greatly!

You can use the send jack, but´s not compensated.
Try to high cut the signal at 4-5 kHz.
