Is the Lafayette the only new Bogner offering?

Not that I'm expecting more, but I was hoping there would be something huge at NAMM from Reinhold. (mostly because of the epic teaser thread that Brad put up last month). What's the scoop?

That's the impression I'm getting... I was hoping for another high gainer instead of another low-wattage clean to crunch amp. Sigh...

Yeah, me too.
Gotta say, that combo does sound pretty great though.

Of course it sounds great; it's a Bogner. It's just that it feels like we already have a Bogner amp that will cover the ground the Lafayette does.

What kind of high gain traits were you hoping for? not sure what direction he would take a new high gain amp. Though, I too. would love to see/hear it

Something a bit tighter and with less bottom end than the Uberschall series would be nice. Maybe something with 3 channels and a better clean channel. Not really sure. Besides, it's the only true high-gain amp in his lineup (XTC is close, but that's not what it's really built for).

So the clean of the shiva, the blue of the xtc and a more focused uber In the 3rd?

Oh yeah, I'd buy that

That would be amazing. Taking the best features of three classic Bogner amps. Tighten up the Uberschall channel a bit. Add tube bias switch between 6L6/EL34/KT88. Presto- best Bogner amp ever.

I never buy new amps. Never have. Always bought on the used market.

I'd wad up a roll of $4,000+ in a rubber band abd hand it to reinhold for that amp you just described.

That's kinda how my Ecstasy is set up :) ...Somebody brought this question up to Reinhold before and he basically said it can't be done...at that point it'd be like lugging all those amps around. :bash:

You just described the ultimate amp.

Im really liking what i hear with the uberschalls and twin jet bogners.

really liking their voicing, never have been a fan of the XTC though.

i think an amplifier with shiva inspiration in one side, and a tighter uberschall on the other would be awsome, keep the boost option of the shiva and that could be use to take the shiva into high gain territory or loosen up the uberschall/twin jet voicing for solo's.

id pay money for that as well
