Is the OD100 upgradable to OD100SE+?

call Suhr and talk to Chris in the amp department. they will take care of you.

If you havent played the amp and its a Standard Plus, I would make sure you play it before you send it off to be modded. I had a Standard Plus and it was a great amp. If you added a Suhr Koko Boost to the front of it, it would send the distortion over the top. Very Versatile amp.

Good Luck. Matt V

it is possible to update the OD100 to the SE+ but if you like the Marshall vein of voicing, I would suggest going with the PT voicing with Whomp#2

I am talking with somebody about trading my Mod50 for a Bradshaw era OD100. I guess that would be the standard but I'm not sure. SamHill's clips have me gassin for the OD100se+ but if I could get it modded to a PT100 that would be great.

When you check out Mark's clips, keep in mind that he's using Duncan Black outs and the Emg spc boost which means he is completely slamming the front end of his amps. If you use something like a Suhr SSH+ in your guitar, you still wont hit the front end of the amp that hard. Also Mark tends to put an OD in front of the amps as a clean boost on top of all that .

I've actually been backing off the SPC lately, I'll turn it up for solos. I have been using the Koko Boost to hit the front end and it just makes this amp even better than it was. With the midboost on and the voice switch in the far left position, it mellows out the low mid hump in the amp...just a fire breather!!!

I've been keeping the gain at about 4-6 too. No worries I am not growing up.

Mark
