Is the Peavey Penta the aborted Lynch Brahma amp?

Just a thought, was the Brahma supposed to be a Marshall style amp with a mode switch to take the tone "through the decades?"

Yes, the Penta was the amp Lynch was working with Peavey on and it was going to be the Brahma.
