buy yea, they're looking good so far! i haven't ever played old English greenies or even the heritage, so can't compare them?
for my ears the Green Berets are quite a bit like the Chinese RI Greenbacks, maybe a tad lower mid focus and slightly more woody? hell, the deferences i'm hearing could be the cabs?
damn sure worth 45 bucks.

Thanks. I'm happy as hell with my speaker setup right now. But I have always been a fan of the greenback. For $45 a pop, I was thinking of ordering a pair to have around. I recently had a pair of Weber 1225 clones and personally I preferred the Chinese RI ones. They need a good beating to break in though.
