Why wouldn't it?

The pound sterling has made a huge drop last year.
 
Yeah, that's pretty much the standard going rate over here. It'll look alot cheaper to you now that the exchange rate has gone the way it has.
 
People from the continent bought JVMs in the UK like crazy at the end of 2008 - until Marshall tried to stop UK dealers from shipping them to us.

I don't get why the britons don't join the Euro anyway . . . :D
 
Oh yeah - and 15% VAT compared to 19% (here) makes another difference . . .

If you look at the "Ships To" list on those auctions,
the USA is not one of the listed countries.
I wonder if/when the drop in the Euro will make European gear more affordable
to Americans buying through US dealers.
