Is this normal? (Einstein content)

When I switch between ch 1(clean mode) and ch 2 there's a noticeable dif. in volume. chn.2 is way louder. If I wanna have chn.2 in a given volume and then switch to ch. 1 for some nice cleans, it sounds very low (gain at noon)

?

It´s a two channel amp and You have volume on both
channels to adjust it. If You want to switch three
channels You need a three channel amp and You will
have three volumes to adjust the output.

Sorry for the simple words,

Peter

Don't worry Peter, hehe I love this amp.... even though I'd like a 3 channel herbie or a 4 ch. vh4, I'm very much in love with this 2 ch. Einstein... (Trully)

I was asking because I though the Master 2 was for boost (leads) but now I see it's the master volume for ch. 2 (that's how I've been using it so far.....with both masters each set to his given channel)

Man, this amp owns!..... really....

Actually, the two masters are not for each individual channel. Both masters control both channels. Master 1 for normal rhythm, Master 2 for the boost.
If you want more volume out of your channel 2, turn up the channel volume on that channel. I run my channel 1 voume at noon, and my channel 2 volume about 2:00. I was a little confused at first, too.

You may also notice that the tone opens up a little brighter when Master 2 is engaged. I actually like to use Master 1 and Master 2 (with similar volumes) as separate channels, and just use channel 2 for leads. Especially since you can adjust the channel volume acordingly for the boost (without even using the Master 2.

There are many different ways this fine amp can be utilized!

I see man...this amp is trully a gem....you can get tons of tones with it... haha

I just have to keep on tweaking and getting to know it. :D

Newbie, sorry :).

I have an Einstein.

Are the masters intentionally different (i.e. designed that way), or is that just inherent to the amp?

That would probably be better question for Peter, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't meant to be that way. If it is inherent to just my amp, I'm glad it's that way.
