Hello all. Have the older kind with the A/C cord, and have had for about a year. Never any issues. Love this pedal. Went to plug-ins for a while, sold some amps and wrapped up the pedal and put it in my "electronics tub" in the garage. Am in Houston Texas so gets really hot in there. Just picked up a Diezel Big max and when i attempt to engage the Carl Martin I get a very loud white noise / hissing sound. Thought maybe it was the pedal chain / bad cables, so i just plugged the Carl martin by itself into the front of the amp, same thing. Dont' have another amp to try it on at the moment, but pretty sure the amp is fine, all other pedals working perfectly.

seems to be much much worse in the "high sensitivity" input of the amp, but still noticeable in the "low sensitivity" side.
any thoughts on what this could be? is it possible the heat in the garage damaged it?

strange, it was working fine with not issues prior to me storing it.
