You use too much gain, buddy! Back down thew gain or even better roll down the volume knob on your guitar & see how nice it all turns out.

nah, sounds really good Joey.

thanks buds!

the gain knob was actually higher than what I usually set it to which is 12:00 no more, but this time I wanted to go for a more saturated gainier sound, so the gain knob's a 1:30.

so even though I don't use that amount of gain it was indeed on purpose. :)

Really nice playing and tone!!  Thx a lot for sharing!! Keep up the good work   The thing that strikes me is that the Einstein seems to sound quite different dependent on what kind of tubes used. You obviously have a more modern tone. Wonder if that is only a tube question or also a question of whether you use the 100 Watt or 50 Watt version? Here is an example of a guy with the 100 Watt version who obviously has got a more vintage sound after changing some tubes. Could be possible that the cab has some influence too and clearly last but not least the guitar? By the way do you buy a 212 or 412 cab?

thank you very much man.

Well it depends... I can make it sound more vintage with my other low output passive guitars.....but I was using a EMG 81.

I have a 2x12.

I did change the tubes.... EL34 and I changed all the preamp tubes too...

Thx Joey for answering. With regard to the cabinets i thought you considered buying a new one. I myself am dithering between a 2x12 or 4x12 but am tending towards the 2x12 to safe my back.

hey bud, yeah, I'm not 100% happy with my cab honestly..... but again, it's an OK cab to jam and have around the house. I put it upfor sale here in the local forums (Barcelona) but things are not too good, ppl ain't buying shit right now. So I decided to keep it. I'm still planing on getting a new GOOD SOLID cab in the summer.

I'm going with a 2x12 honestly........4x12 might sound HUGE and all but I like the size/portability of 2x12, and they STILL sound huge! :D
