If I buy an amp from you, you better send the power cord unless we have discussed it already. Dammit, I hate unpacking a new toy only to have to scavenge for a power cord.

I totally thought this was going to be a Van Halen topic.

I agree!!!!!! Just say you're not sending the F-ING cord!!!!!!

I've always sent cords but at this point I think I'm finished. Unless I explicitly state a cord is included, it's not. Same with the foot switch. Yeah.

Hell, I even picked up a used YJM from Guitar Center and they shipped it without a cord!!! Bastards!!

An amp can not run without a power cord, when the amp was originally sold I bet came with a power cord.
Both reasons why the cord should be included with the amp!
That is complete crap that the seller did not send it, unless he forgot to send it.

Do you care if the cord has been chewed on by a pet? :)

f you buy an amp from me, it comes attached internally .

I always include the cord. I've got so many of the damn things laying around I'm happy to get rid of one!

I'm kinda of the same headspace... Between computer/gear/electronic cords and gear cords, I've probably got 10 or 15 in my immediate vicinity. I would lose my shit if someone sent me an amp without a cord, and conversely, I'd like it if someone didn't lose their shit if I sent them an amp without a cord. But fact be told, amps come with cords, so we should do the same to keep that real.

I would always hope that in the grown up world though, that if you receive an amp with no cord before you post about what a POS somebody is on a forum you shoot off an email or phone call first to see if what you get as a reply is "Oh crap, I forgot to put it in the box, let me get that right out to you, sorry about that"

You lost us at "grown up."

I bet Eddie wouldn't ship a power cord with an amp he was selling.

If I was calling the guy out I would contact them first. At this point I'm just venting because I didn't get a cord. I have spares, I just think it should come with unless specified.

I have about 100 power cords from shipping amps with out them.
Making a nice wind mobile out of them.

Just kidding. Yeah.....Its a pet peave for me as well. Did a multi amp trade one time....think I traded 2 of my amps for 3 form other people. I shipped out a cord with each amp....the 3 I got in had none. I had to use the one power cord sharing/taking turns with the 3 amps. :(

Not cool.

Thats when everytime I hit up a thrift store...I would snag a couple old computer cords. Anywhere from .49 cents to $2.00 each. Juuuuuuuust in case.

I have totally forgotten to pack these on a couple of occasions....also failed to receive them on a couple...it's all good.

* note - i followed up with the buyers and in one of the cases expedited the cord to him because he needed it...the oyther guy was 'no sweat'

I really don't think this is a big deal for hardcore amp swapping brigade.
