I have the day off from work and was sleeping late because I'd played Hockey till after midnight last night. My wife came into the bedroom and said: "You got a box from Michigan."

I smiled.

I haven't played it yet. But I think I have to pop the face plate off first because one side doesn't sit flush to the housing. One of the tabs on the housing sits a little proud and the face plate is about an 1/8" off the housing. I'm afraid I'd bent the face plate if I rack it this way.

No biggie. It'll be a quick easy fix. I'll follow up later after I actually play it.

Thanks boys.

No pics or clips yet. I haven't even played it. I did pop off the face plate and MV knob so I could straighten out one of the tabs that holds the threaded insert. It was a bit proud of the chassis and kept the face plate off the chassis-ear by 1/8" inch. This was only on the upper right rack screw.

It was easy to fix.

I do notice that the Mids knob on the EG5 feels a bit "mushy" at the min and max settings. As if you could twist the knob a bit further in each direction. I bet it's just a loose hex nut on the shaft of the pot.

I'm thrilled to have it and will plug it in within the next 2 days. I'm so busy with work, family and hockey these days. I did get my Xotic BB Preamp in the mail today as well so it was a GREAT gear day.
