anybody know the nut width on the old Charvel and Jackson Fusion guitars?

i searched quite a bit and didn't find anything?

I'll be able to find out for you in a couple of days at most. My friend owns two (Fusion SS and Fusion SX), so I'll just get him to measure it when I see him online :)

Off the top of my head, nut width is around 42-43mm, and according to the '92 catalogue the thickness is 19mm at the 1st fret, and 21mm at the 12th. When I played them I remember thinking the neck was very thin, but I wasn't aware of it being narrow, hence my guess at the nut width. Anyways: I'll get my friend to measure when I talk to him...

yep, would appreciate a holler if you find out.

i've played one before, but don't remember on the nut width. i'm trying to stick with 1 5/8" or 42mm for nuts.

i was watching one on ebay, and didn't wanna bid untill i knew the nut width.

He just measured them for me. His Fusion SS is 41mm, his Fusion SX is 42mm, both are '92 models, as far as we can tell. The SS has the nicest neck either of us has ever held, btw. It's awesome :D

Hehe, I've got a Professional SX (HSS) that I've had since 92. Glad to see that there are other fans around!

The nut seems to be a standard Floyd licensed locking one to me.
