Just a killer player who always gets great tone, has the VH swing down pat, & doesn't miss a lick

For the haters.....yes, he's been writing a ton of his own stuff with his drummer & will only get better.

This guy is a potential star in the making fellas. He knows he's great!.....check him rockin' out to some Stevie Wonder & singing pretty good as well. He definitely has something special going on...

Who cares if he is a clone.. he has great chops, great stage presence, knows how to work the crowd, and the band is tight. Vocals may not be the best but they are definitely good enough and the band works well together to support each other. He is having a hell of a time up there and it shows. How can you bash it.

Oh, tone is pretty killer too though I think even with a solid state drive pedal and a power amp of some sort, he would still sound and play great.

He is a great player. Are you promoting him?: You have posted many times about him. No offense at all, just curious if you are affiliated with him. :D

Man, I really enjoy watching his stuff (same with Al Estrada)...I missed the early VH years, so this is the closest I'll ever get to seeing a young hungry Ed live.

  I just dig that Ed stuff & think the kid's a great player with a world of possibilities ahead of him!

He knows how to rock the Germino. Singer sounds horrible :aww:

Sounds great.

Chicks in the audience didn’t look bad either. :D

I think the singing is pretty good.. i have said it before though, the cranked Germino sound is great for VH but it makes everything else sound like.. well.. VH. I think the tone doesn't work for Superstitious and it would cover more genres if he just set the Germino to crunch (better for funk) and boost with a few pedals. I also think he has a tendency to over play in a few of the songs which could get old in bars where people just really want to dance to the tunes. That would be my only criticism. I think he's great overall though and agree he really captures that early Ed vibe.

Great player but not a fan of his voice. I see he is writing originals now. Vocals are still the weak link and the lyrics are pretty juvenile but damn that dude can play.

I don't mind the vocals on this either. He can hit some pretty good high notes and likely has moddled himself after DLR who spoke or yelled for the most part anyway so it works. I do agree that someone who is a natural singer might do it better but it is probably harder to find a guy who wants to sing this style nowadays. Increasingly I can't stand the sound of that Germino though. Such a splatty fucking mess. Boost an 800 already.. it will allow the intricacies of his rythm playing to pop more. That's just me though, the VH fanboys will love it.

I like this kid - he is a tremendous player already and I love that Germino. It sounds very plex-ish with the early VH tones. That attack and that sag are there. He does need some better songs and a singer I think. But it is nice to see someone that age cranking the old school style. Most guys today are over saturated detuned garbage.

completely forgot that VH tune . Now I'm gonna have to learn it.

I'm impressed that he can sing Lead and play VH at the same time.
If I could do that I would solve my "can't find a singer problems"
the little $hit :D

Really good player. I liked the single he released for sure but MAN, hoping he'll find his own identity. The original was obviously really VH influenced. Not a bad thing as far as I am concerned but could get old quick.

Damn, that was killer! Dude can play, and I thought his singing was pretty solid especially while playing

can't believe all the nit picking here
jesus fuck is anyone ever happy?
germino hate?
really?

Hey, its a gear forum isn't it? Production quality, tone etc... no stone goes unturned here fellas! to me, wicked player and I like the singing but I sort of feel that the Germino wide open like that sounds a bit too squishy and saggy to my ears. I am not saying it is dog shit, but I am saying it is loose and splatty and besides VH1 (the germino doesn't have the same cut anyway), not a sound I would go for given some of his other covers. I am perfectly happy though. ;)
