As a gigantic Jake fan, I can't believe I just got this. This is ridiculously badass and I love the production. Jake is on fucking fire. Highly recommended.

Instrumental?

I still have a hard time forgiving Jake for doing that WWIII Bullshit. They were one of the worst bands i ever saw.

Nope. It's all fairly obscure covers from 70's bands. Aynsley Dunbar on drums.

WWIII was terrible except Jake played his ass off at the show I saw. That idiot singer fucked it all up. :gethim:

Is that a new release or older album?

I believe it came out in '05.

Yeah I saw that shit too....horrible, I left about halfway thru the show.

A friend of mine gave me a copy of this disc. I didnt think it was very good. Sounds like he has not played in a long time.

I liked the CD. Not as much as the Badlands era but good covers.

Yeah, I've seen that too. Either on http://www.jakeelee.com or eBay. I'm 99% sure those orange tolexed Marshalls were early Super Lead Reissues and he used those on tour with Badlands (and possibly other bands.) Those weren't his vintage recording amps.

I opened for Badlands on the Voodoo Highway tour and he had two orange SL stacks on stage but had 900's on the side of the stage out of view. Still sounded great.

I have listened to it all the way through twice now and there are some sloppy moments but also some moments of serious badassness. I think the badass moments outweigh the sloppy ones. I also reeeeally like the drumming.

I just realized that Jake didn't play in WWIII, that was Tracy G. He was in Wicked Alliance with that douchebag "singer" from WWIII though.

That was the show I saw...Wicked Alliance....he had 5 full 5150 stacks in this med sized club. I was right up front against the stage pretty much, they were cranked  They were buthcering The Ultimate Sin when I gave up and left....dissapointing show.

I saw the Voodoo Highway tour I think and Jake had his leg in a cast, orange Marshalls on stage. That was a good show.
