Anyone ever checked out his first solo album, Convergence? :o :o :o

Holy fuck, what an incredible album! Killer riffs, tons of leads, great melodies, etc. James is a monster player and has a really cool style. Anyone who hasn't heard this album needs to get it!

Hell yeah, man. I have had that record for a long time and it definitely rips.

I had the first Disincarnate album on cassette and that was some killer Death Metal...I have to get that on CD some day.

I have always seemed to enjoy James Murphy in all of the bands hes been with. For me, he has a really unique sound.

I have both of his solo CD's, and have since released. I've been into James since Death's Spiritual Healing. One of my faves, as well as his leads on Obituary's Cause Of Death.

Feeding The Machine, (his second CD), has Steve Digiorgio, & Deen Castronovo for the most part, but Chuck Billy does a song, Clark Brown, (G/Z/R), and even Stu Hamm on a song. Good stuff.

He's also on the Rush Tribute, "Working Man". You should hear him rip up YYZ, and Natural Science..

I'm sure you know he's a Caparison endorsee as well.... :P
