Hey guys

Just wasting some time and wanted to show my appreciation for James Murphy!

The two solo discs these are from are probably my favourite discs, I have had them since they came out and I just can never get enough of them. I think James is one of the most underrated guitar players in the genre and I'm glad he is still with us!
He is the last of my heros still alive! and just wanted to share my love of these tunes!

Check em out if you have not before!

Actually he played all the leads on Cause Of Death, and Testaments Low. Dont forget Spiritual Healing by Death, Chuck and James together

Great work on Testament's Low...not my fave disc from them but still...killer stuff!

I saw James Murphy with Testament live in Amsterdam at the Melkweg years ago, totally by chance. We were wandering in the streets with my girlfriend, totally stoned out of our minds, when I saw a poster on a wall anouncing Testament playing in about an hour that very day. We managed to make it to the concert place somehow in our cannabis stupor and witnessed one of the best concerts in our lives !

Also, dont forget Cancer and Disincarnate.

Dreams of the carrion kind. Still get chills listening to stench of paradise burning!

I got to see him on the Death - Spiritual Healing tour!

It sucks about the brain cancer, I guess that took him away from his guitar playing...

His solo albums are amazing. He's always been an underrated guitarist.
