Anyone?...... Just curious.

Because of the lower wattage? The mesa tech says if they aren't redplating, They would be okay. Since they are a military spec, they are supposed to be more durable, right?Waste of money in a Mark V.
In an amp that has what....(9 )12ax7 preamp tubes ( I forget how many mine had exactly).....it seems like a waste of money to buy vintage or N.O.S power tubes. Unlike say a vintage marshall amp.Because of the lower wattage? The mesa tech says if they aren't redplating, They would be okay. Since they are a military spec, they are supposed to be more durable, right?
Try it.I already have said tubes. I have a few other boutique amps to use them in. I was just wondering if anyone else has tried them in a Mark V. I just did.... I is a tad bit quieter. The bottom does seem a bit tighter too. I'll see if they live in there for a while, or if I push them harder into breakup in a single channel amp. Thanks for the opinions.
