When the cabinet is being played through.

I'm using the green speaker cables you sent with my Mod 50.
When I plug it in several times in a row it feels different every two out of three times. Sometimes it clicks and sometimes its mushy.

Any thoughts?

Might have to pull the back off the cabinet and check to see if the tip of the jack has been pushed out far enough that when you insert the 1/4 cable it doesn't really force the tip out. That's all I got :D

Must be all that bottom end! ;)

Off topic: I swear, the more I play through this cabinet, the more I love it. It just sounds so fucking huge! One of my buddies was over at the house the other night and he couldn't believe there was only a single 12" driver in there. Jeff, what other drivers work well in this cabinet?

None!

If the 1/4" jack on the back of your cab looks o.k. but you still
have trouble with it-Switchcraft makes a locking 1/4" jack
that would do the trick...check with your local music store guys-

I put a bigger jack plate and put 1/4 and a female speakon connector on mine. The speakons have a twist type lock, nice.

The speakon connectors are the best...We even have those
on our low-end bins in the P.A. to keep the jacks from blowing
out the back! :D

Get a Neutrik locking jack, many sealed bass cabinets and well sealed 412's exhibit the same thing, air pressure pops the plug out. Cheap insurance against frying a transformer and tubes.

They should come already installed in the egnater custom cabs since they use everything of highest quality. (jeff -hint,hint)

I guess I shouldn't have the air pressure knob up so high
