How much does it cost to get my Randall head (RM100KH) moded to make use of bothchannels of the Eggie modules? Turn around time?


Any new modules coming down the pike?

Unfortunately they won't do it because of timing.
 
Well they were, and it got a bunch of us excited (me included...I want to get either a RM100 or Mod100 and have it modded for dual channels). Jeff posted that they were going to do this, but then they got really busy and now they don't really have the bandwidth to do this unfortunately.

Would you be willing to let someone like Dave Friedman in on how to do this mod, because I know some people like myself would be MORE THAN WILLING to pay SOMEONE to do this mod if you guys can't. I really want a 100-watt head w/ my Dual channels!!!! Dave has done a lot of work with the Randall heads anyways. The MIDI mod shouldn't be that big of a deal for him. That would be a really nice thing for people like me who want a 3-module head, but can't find a dual channel Mod100.

I wanted to get this done as well. From Bruce and Jeff, this mod requires a new midi board and a new module board. At this time, they are not producing those boards. Jeff has pretty much said that it isn't going to happen. I think it would be great if Dave could take that off off of Bruce and Jeff's plate since they are so busy.
Overall, it's an easy upgrade. All the wiring to the boards is via connectors so the only concern would be connecting all wires back to the correct terminals, but if you wrote them down or took a picture it would not be difficult. Both boards are easily accessible in the chassis to change out.
I have 2 heads I want this done to, an early Mod 100 and an RM100. I would jump on it in a heartbeat.

I totally would buy a RM100 in a heartbeat if Jeff / Bruce would let someone like Dave take this off their hands too! Probably have Dave mod the shit out of the RM100 too. Tranny mod, etc. Make that thing roar!!
