Isn't very good. There, I said it.

I know everyone is happy they are touring at all, but they sound loose and shitty without Drenning on guitar.

Travis Wills from Infidel rising is fine on vocals, I guess, he's no midnight but he's "fine"

The lead playing by The Lost Boys guy Bergmeister or whatever the blonde guys name is.... not great. Not great at all.

See this is the problem when your lead guitar player is fucking legendary like John Drenning, you try to replace him with some Pete Thorn/Robert Baker "Rock" guy and he's bland as fucking hell and the music sounds like shit.

Also, the lyrics the the "triskadeika" single are fucking retarded.

There, I got my crimson glory post out for this decade. So frustrating that a band that used to be THAT good is now this shit.

It's especially sad with Crimson Glory because of how amazing the first two records are.

They are both honest to god "all killer no filler" classic, perfect, 10/10 albums. In a row.

Honestly I think it fucked them over that it was their first two albums. If they would have had 4 shitty albums and THEN put out the self-titled and "transcendence" they would have been just as big as Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica, Iced Earth, Blind Guardian, etc

Their first two albums were so fucking rad that it feels like they had no ammunition left by the time they got to "strange and beautiful" - and then they only had filler with bits of glory on "astronomica" which was a gigantic waste of Wade Black, who is a phenomenal singer (especially in Seven Witches)
