:dunno: Beats the hell outta me. But he wants his gat-damn Cameron. And if they flip the boards, he'll flip his shit.

Just watched the whole thing and James' attitude and personality is a huge reason why Metallica is my favorite band. So down to earth. He had a stretch in the 90's where his ego got a bit big, but he came out the other side himself. So goddamn refreshing with celebrities.

Great interview! Cool that he lives up the road from me, hunts & gardens & recreates like me, loves heavy shit like me, left CA for the same reasons, if he wasn't a supah stah we could probably be buds. :)

Hetfield is the man. After all these years he still has such a passion for music. Just seems so laid back now compared to his black album days. Very cool guy.

I has to stop after 30 seconds. I love Mr Hetfield... but Joe Rogan can go get hit by a bus. Can't stand that guy.

Don't hold back. Tell us how you really feel.

I like Rogan's podcasts.. sometimes though, he tries to be a little too cool and here you could tell was one of those times where he was trying to impress JH a bit. I also doubt he is that big of a metal fan as any of us... either way though, he is a good interviewer and knowledgeable in a lot of different things to keep it interesting. Also think Hetfield would have a good voice for podcasts actually. Has the right tone.

this ...... the fact the dude finds the need to swear every second word shows a lack of communication skills that annoys the hell out of me. He seems like a really good interviewer in terms of what he asks people but kills it with the swearing for me...but obviously his target audience probably lap it up

The info on bees was way interesting! See he is everyday guy!

Enjoyable discussion without all the normal cliche questions......Rogan does a good job.

Like I tell my kids, swear if you're really pissed or in pain, but swearing in regular conversation is just being a poser. Rogan's proven enough and intelligent enough he doesn't need to swear like a poser. Great interview otherwise.

Concur. Dude takes conversations down some interesting rabbit holes with a lot of very interesting people and has a way of letting them forget the time and just talk for 4-1/2 hours straight about things that actually interest them. Which, being relatively new to podcasts is how I thought most of them must be. Yeah.... not the case. Dude kills it.

And as far as his swearing - if he's a guest on someone else's show, take Cameron Hanes for instance, and he knows they're not big on swearing, he avoids it out of respect of the host and their listeners. But if he's in his studio, it's his house and you're either along for the ride or you're not. I do get it, though.

Personally, I'm far more disgusted by pretentious knobs who put reverb on their voice and carry themselves with an air of superiority. What the hell is that?! Takes me right out of it. Doesn't matter who you have on - I tap.
