Anybody ever put el34's in this amp... Can you make a clip for me. I like the sound so far but I think in missing that midrange snarl that el34's give and the sound would be on point then!

I'm super glad you made this amp, I'm going to try and make a clip when I get a shot. I sold all of my equipment a couple of years ago and no way could I get back into the over the top diezel rig I had and this was as close as I could get within my budget and I really don't feel I'm compromising anything. It sounds great once you familiarize yourself with it. I think some el34's will put it right where I want it for sure! I don't really think the loop is bad btw, it's not like the diezels I had but that's pretty much apples to oranges. The midi was the real selling point for me honestly, besides it sounding pretty darn good.

Having said that, I would would swap it in a heart beat for my VH4 or the Herbert. It's really not a fair comparison in all honesty. You're talking about a mass produced amp and an amp hand made with top notch everything. It's about as close as you're going to get new in that price range however and you're really no sacrificing on sound and to some it may even be better. I still like my diezel and will own another in due time. For now I'm very happy though.
