Just bought an FJA modded Peavey Rock Master

I am in the process of significantly downsizing my rig (price wise and size) and spotted the thing on Ebay, so had to snag it. I loved the stock RockMaster I had and getting it in Jerry's hands can only make it better IMHO, so I bought it. Probably paid a bit too much for it ($310 shipped), but it is still a small number all things considered.

So now my rig consists of:

Peavey RockMaster
VHT 2/50/2
Mesa/Boogie Quad (at Mesa getting fixed because I dropped the damn thing )
Amped VH140C
Genz Benz G Flex

and a few pedals.

Nice compact, reasonably inexpensive rig when you consider all the ground it covers.

That price kinda does seem high, I paid $175 for mine. Maybe the mods make it more valuable?

I thought his modded RockMasters went for a bit less...but you don't see them very often.

All in all, as long as the unit is as it seems, I am happy with the purchase

I would rank it as one of the best preamps I have played. Regardless of the price.

I sold mine for 320 shipped almost a year ago .

I miss it too .... friggin thing got thick as all hell !!!!

I believe he's charging 200 for the mod now . When I sent him mine it was still 150

So I think 300 is a great friggin deal .
