Just bought myself a Pelican 1300 Case for my modules.

Matt recommended this to me. I think it's a great idea. Watertight, hardshell ABS case with pick and pluck foam inside. Fits 3 modules perfectly. Or, 2 modules and some spare tubes, etc.

I give it two thumbs up. :2thumbsup:

If you're taking a bunch of modules back and forth for recording sessions, this works WAY better than a slew of the FedEx boxes and bubble wrap that the modules were originally shipped it.

Can't beat this case for $35. Got mine on Amazon.

That's a great case. I haven't gotten one yet, since all my modules have semi-permanent homes in their respective amps :).

This case will just give me more incentive to eventually fill it with a T/D, VX, and perhaps an SL2!!! hahaha.

I want that

Amazon? I can't find it for less than $36.99 + $10 shipping.

Where did you find it for $35??

So true. You need them all man :). I'll get another VX someday. But I'm really pleased with the DLX, COD, SL, SL2, EG3/4/5. The VX is the only thing that I do miss, but I can always get another later on. I'd like to have it back and try it out w/ the THD Yellow-jackets in my Mod50. Those are damn cool. You can really get the power-tube distortion on the low power selection, which is really interesting.

My bad, that's what I meant... THAT is still the cheapest I can find it anywhere. A lot of places are asking like $55 and up.

Randall had (has? I think they are out of stock) A pretty decent carrying case for 8 modules. Hint to Bruce and Jeff, you guys could sell a bazillion of these, the Randall guys are always looking for them.

Mine is at the top of the pic ;)

Pelican cases are the bomb! I use them to carry M9s all the time and they are extremely sturdy.

For all of us, please post a picture :gethim: , if you could, when you get the case, with modules in it (assuming you are using it for that purpose). I'm curious to see how the modules will be in one of these and how much room will be left etc. I'm definitely considering picking one of these up, or something similar to it.

Matt - if you already have one, a picture would be great.

THANKS!!!

Ill try to get a picture up tonight when I get home from work.

Could be my imagination, but that looks like it will hold four modules, not three like the OP said. Is that the same box>????

Very nice Mercury...

I guess since 3 across leaves no room for tubes, you did yours up and down. Good thinking!

Great little tip. Even though I'm waitng for the m4 to do that job, I might still snag one or a smaller version to carry tubes around and just throw it in the trunk during a gig.

Thanks for the pictures. That was very helpful. This could be the solution I was looking for in terms of transporting and storing extra modules.

I found this product on the web for under $35 if anyone is interested. Deal can be found here HERE. Multiple colors too!!!

Be concerned as it does say "No Foam Included" for that price.
