Would someone please critique my drum programing please :) It's my first try so i don't really know what I'm doing yet, plus I don't play drums. Does it sound like a guitar play programmed it? lol

This song is a work in progress, no vocals recorded yet, the solo is ONLY there to indicate that a solo will go there. I write the leads last, this was just me ad libing some crap.

:thumbsup: I liked it. I think you have a decent grasp on what should be going on. The machine-like double bass is a bit telegraphed, but I'm sure you'll figure out how to make certain adjustments as time goes along... good job man.

Drums sounds pretty good programming wise. Guitars are a bit boxy sounding and I was having a harder time to hear the drums due to this. I hear some swinging in the snare fills in some areas, sounded slightly unatural in feel. other then that good job.... maybe try to add some more variation like 32nd notes in the hi hats and ghost snare notes.
 
Awesome, thank guys. I've done a couple more songs and am getting better but still definitely need tips!
