Just got my Herbert today!!!! Yow!!!

I'm using a Recto 4X12 cab with vintage 30's.

What cabs are you using and why?
What spekers are you using and why?
What tubes are you using and why?
What midi pedal did you get and why?

Orange 2x12" with V30s with my Einstein and it sounds killer.

Currently using the stock tubes that came with the Einstein except I'm using 2 Jan Phillips for V1 and V2 in the preamp. Sounds absolutely ridiculous. Highly reccomend those tubes.

No pedal yet, I just added the pedal to my questions.

I just took my Les Paul and strang it with 12's and dropped it to C with a drop Ab. Whoa! Brutal. I'm so pumped. I played a Herbert for the first time about 2 years ago and was drawn to get one but never pulled the trigger till now.

I am using H&K 4x12s with Eminence-Great bass/tone/chunk
Rocktron All Access- It switches my RJM Music RG-16 and gives me 15 switches/presets on the fly
TAD Tubes-El34/6L6/KT88-Most versatile sound IMHO

this is a whole new trip for me, I'm a Les Paul/Marshall guy.

How does the pedal work?
Do you still use a pedal board (chorus, delay etc...) or do you use a midi rack mount effects processor and program the Rocktron to run the effects?
Can you split the Rocktron to run 2 Herberts?

Thanks guys, I know it's a lot of questions but I'm in uncharted waters.
 
I'm using an Engl slanted 4x12 with V30's, and a Columbus footswitch with a Rocktron Xpression in the loop.

I've been playing the Herbert for 2 days and I am amazed at the sound, a whole other beast from my Uberschall.
 
i would not like to get a rack multieffect, i want to get just 3,4, max 5 (warm) analogic pedal box effects.

so i'd like to use the amp midi feature to obtain the presets i need - this in order to mix and chose the effects i want to be involved.

i read i need something like a loop switcher.... then a midi pedalboard ( to save and select presets, switch channels, engage the master volume 2, acvivate the mid cut ).

James Lugo i think we need a similar set up, am i right?
