I just got this recently, but my bills are sky high and I really prefer EL34's to 6550's. Also, I have another Cameron and a Fortin on the way, so this amp is available.

So what Cameron and Fortin did you get?

Well, my other Cameron is a Jose with EL34's. The Fortin is a JCM 800 model 1987 (50 watt, 4 input model) also with EL34's. Mike is doing his Cali mod on that amp. I don't have it yet, I'm probably at late December for a completion date...

At least for the time being, I'm keeping the amp. My tech is taking out the 6550's and putting in EL34's.

I can't stand 6550 in Marshall's.

Well, you may just get your wish. I don't plan on raising the price either, so that should help.

PM me if you decide to let this go with the EL34s, as that's actually a reasonable price compared to say buying a Marshall and shipping it to Fortin or Friedman so if I haven't picked something else up this has potential
