Just picked up a single Eg3 module!

Just picked up a single Eg3 module from a fellow forumite, who got it from another forumite at one time. I really like this module!! I believe one of the previous owners brightened it up a bit, but still felt it was too dark. not me, I love this module as is right now! not to dark one bit, just right, nice and thick sound and I really like the mids on this one!! It has alot of gain in it, more then I woudl of thought for the supposedly 1st channel, right now I am using it as a lower gain sound, but eventually I may move some things around. Me likey! will try for some clips sometime.

Comparing it to my Modded SL+, it has such a creamy mid to it, really helps it stand out man, sounds fantastic to me. :thumbsup:
 
Congrats man! That is a great module. I like the vibe that module has. It's different from the A channel on the dual EG3/4, a little more open sounding, yet still creamy and thick. Nice pickup. :rock:
 
sweet, yes, its open, I can instantly tell from my other modules, I really like it and will problaly be sitting on it for alot of playing!!! :thumbsup:
 
Yep, I live in the 3 zone. It's where it's at for me. I have my old single EG3 and teh EG3/4 which I sent back to Bruce to make it sound more like a dual 3 than 4.
 
The EG3/4 has become my main sound. I love this sort of tone so much, I am thinking of getting another MHG. After using the EG3/4 for a while, it is hard to go back to the SL2. I may do the cap mod to make it a touch brighter assuming it loses no thickness. I find rhythm and lead great with this thing.
