Recently I bought a used Herbert (BTW--probably the best-sounding amp I've ever heard, no insult to my VH4). When the amp arrived, I noticed the Channel 1 LED was not illuminating. I contacted the seller and he (jid) went WAY above and beyond, contacting Diezel and informing them of the issue.

No questions asked, I received replacement parts in the mail. Just like that. I've only dealt with one other company (coincidentally, also a German amp maker) that stands behind their product so firmly, and provides such unbelievable customer service.

So I say this: When you purchase a Diezel, you're not just buying a piece of hardware--you're buying an end-to-end guitar amplification solution that spans from the physical hardware to the stellar support to the free advice and consulting that is all over this forum.

I am both proud and humbled.

THANK YOU DIEZEL AMPLIFICATION FOR REMINDING US WHAT IT MEANS TO BUILD AND SUPPORT A PRODUCT OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY!!

Cheers,

Race

 Everytime I play the Herbert (very often that is) It puts a smile on my face. What a great freakin amp!

Nice to know Diezel stands behind his product 100%

Yer startin' to make me feel bad about selling my Herbert recently, even though I still have the VH4!

I'm digging it now more since trying a 12at7 in v3!!

But it's more than an amp, as ive stated before...it's the man.
Think about it... That Marshall I just bought that was not packed right and now has an issue with the reverb tank, parts falling out, etc...who can I ask about it??
But if it was a Diezel amp, not only would I have an answer, but parts would be at my doorstep next week to fix it!!
That's why we love ya Peter!

You could ask me--I'm pretty handy around an amp...

Maybe... But I'm just awaiting my Mak 4 first and foremost. Seriously, I can't justify having the VH4S and the Herbert and the 20thA under one roof when it's all just for hobby.

Bullshit, I'll probably have the Herbert in the 1st quarter of the new year :hys:

Diezel KICKS!!

Some people collect sports cards worth several thousand dollars. What do they get out of that....."ooohhh eee....look at my card". Done.

At least you have a great collection of amps that you can actually do something with....PLAY and Enjoy!
If it brings a smile to your face, then it's all worth it.

Now, I can't say I fit into the hobby mode because my amp has earned me some good $$$ over the last few years along with my Einstein before I sold it...but would I be upset if it was the other way, nope? It's a great amp. Sometimes when one thinks of changing things, one needs to go back to the table and sort out what they already have and realize that it doesn't get any better.

For me, it's just SO much more... when I plugged into the Herbert, what I heard coming out was THAT sound that I'd had in my head all these years and have been trying to coax out of other amps, processors, etc. The age-old dilemma is, what do you do when you finally get exactly what you've been searching for?

ROCK OUT!!!

Thanks again Peter--I cannot say enough good things, and will let you know when I post my review.

Cheers,

...this is exactly the way I feel about my VH4....years and years of tone quest, pedals, amps and all that kinda stuff...everything blown away by this beauty!!!

Besides with those amps everytime you can discover and enjoy new things...for example lately I'm focusing much more on effects routing, MIDI features etc. and I'm really (and I mean, REALLY) diggin' the VH4 serial efx loop; don't know how you do it Peter, but this is the best sounding loop I've ever heard!!!

Thanks Peter, I'm truly glad to be part of the family!!!

Thanks for the good tidings Pauly...!! Ya man, I'm good, obviously back in to wasting my time on these forums and avoiding reality after my most epic surf trip to the tropics... It was awesome. I'm still there in spirit!!

Just good to be back into the music, albeit I haven't been able to get back in the studio yet - been busy with 'real life work' and trying to mack the bucks... \:D/

All I can say is - it's like COMING HOME when I started back in on RT and especially the Diezel thread

Peace Y'All...
Mojo/Mo/V./Ventura :salute:
