So after Ken Fischer died there was a group of people who got together to build basically the Uber Clone of a Trainwreck using only the finest parts available. The clips below were recorded by Glen K. using his real deal 59' Les Paul...my favorite of the group is #3, but they all do a good job of demonstrating how this type of amp does the clean to mean thing so well with only the volume knob of the guitar after the amp is running. Similiar to Pete's clips but with a bit more oomph due to the Les Paul vs Strat factor. Enjoy - there's some good stuff.

you know, I've never played a Trainwreck, and I hear they're amazing amps, but the whole Ken Fischer: Tone Savant thing lost me when I read on TGP that he could tell the tonal differences in wires with different colors..that the color of the wire affected the tone. :student:

that's when they lost me....

Forget about the implied freak show and let your ears do the deciding

EDIT: My Cameron JTM Jose and R8 (thanks Steve E :) ) can get real close to both those clean and dirty tones.

I didn't like 6 much with all that gain on the strat.
3 was excellent, the rest were really nice as well.
