Killer show last night

Last night we played on Kentucky Lake to a reasonable crowd for my area. Most folks in the NW TN area like country music. I guess that’s fine. Not my style so we seem to go against the grain and play 70-80s stuff mainly. The stage is killer. I have some videos popping up through the day. Yet again the 20 sec vids really burn me but I guess if I was listening to a band I’d prob not record a cover band. My rig is the SLO100 into 2 powerstations making a WDW (H90) With 2 theile GK cabs on either side of the center ADA 2x12. It’s rare that I’m not tweaking the eq of my tone in different venues. But the control from the 2 powerstations is just killer. One of the PS100s has a foot pedal to boost volume for lead. It’s all I really needed with various drives in front of the clean channel only. I’m quite pleased what I heard. It’s what I want to hear in my brain when I play. I had my old lead singer get a chance to come up as well and he did his maestro thing which was very cool.

Killer! Definitely a nice setup/stage....a far cry from some of the "Hey why don't ya'll set up there in the corner..." gigs I've had in the past....ahh the good ol days :ROFLMAO:

Our “corner” at Local’s was exactly that. As we were about to set up the owner said hold on about 15 mins; I have to get all the swingers out of here. Apparently there was a group of ~20 having a swap meet and auctioning off some excess trim. Woah , what? While they were still having a party in the parking lot, I realized I knew a few of them… I can’t get the images out of my head now.

I didn’t realize you were using the gk’s… that’s awesome dude.

Dude...those groups are EVERYWHERE.....here in town, back about 20 yrs the swingers were actually a 'well to do' group that included a 2 Doc husband(pain clinic doc) and wife(pediatrician)...one of my roommates told me a story about an afterbar he went to..I put it together pretty quickly as my girlfriend was a single mom who lived in a McMansion neighborhood, and those Docs where her neighbors.....

Those little cabs have a smoother deeper sound vs the ADA. That ADA is more mid and upper and both ADAs together can be a bit harsh for my liking as I’m missing some low end in my ear. The GKs are absolutely perfect to compliment. That’s 2nd PS2 I got from @DanTravis62 had the extra feature of 2 speaker out which the PS100 doesn’t have. That was/is a great feature. On the other hand; the PS100 has a Toggle pedal for 2nd channel (my boost) with individual depth and presence and an fx toggle on/off as well. The foot dance is now at a minimal.

Sup with the pink cast on your right arm? You get in a fight with another trucking company owner and hurt yo-seff while you was beating him with ta tire iron?

I’ve learned way more about this activity since I moved to NW Tenn. only because our small town is just that. (Mayberry in TN- “juaaaanitaaaa”).

Ha. No. My wife washed all my sweat bands and the pink and one grey was not in the dryer so I used my 80s pink- I had to “get physical”. I saw the head band too and was like fuck it. The coexist 😏 shirt though has been in my repertoire for some time though. That shirt takes a second but then it becomes apparent.

That’s awesome. Sounds complicated though.
Not at all. Can go both speakers out of head to each PS. Or speaker out to ps and fx- or slave out to other PS. I don’t see much of a difference. Not sure if both speaker outs would strain the tubes on the SLO. Either way sounds what I expect to hear in my head.

So that's why he owns a trucking company.
Actually he’s an Olympic pole vaulter but he had his dreams of gold crushed over a tragic accident last night. So he plays guitar in a band as a back up to his Olympic dreams. I told him he failed as a pole vaulter but he wins at life.

I love you guys. Did I tell you that this sunday morning? I hope you and @alund have a great day and you and your families are together and doing well. I had killer shows all weekend outdoors 95 plus humidity from a lot of recent rain. Let's just say it was brutal but pays the bills and I get to strip off my shirt and sit in the breeze out on the porch when I get home. So anyways, my brain ain't working too good yet but be blessed.

It’s why I have the sweat bands and a Miller highlife

Doesn't even use a "pole". Just unzips, starts running and makes Olympic dreams come true.....
