I had one of these modded Rammstein Triple ReV Gs (among others) and i didn't like it.Well, that sounded great and in no way resembled the tubby experience I had with 3 early small logo G Duals. So, I have to come to the conclusion that NO G DNA in that amp at all. Gotta be more F and earlier. Which is how it should be since the Gs were very sterile compared to F or earlier Rectos that I've played. And, yes I boosted the shit outta the G Duals and still TUB city. The Triple Gs are another story, however. MUCH better than the Duals.
Feel wise does it have the addicting bounce of the F or is it more leaned toward the attack of the G?The amp really does sound great. Definitely a nice mix of F and G.
I would say it has the chug and low end of an F but the attack of a G. My Rev F is a very special one, it often beats other Fs that it has been put up against, and the reissue had the nice full bottom of the F with a slightly brighter overall tone.Feel wise does it have the addicting bounce of the F or is it more leaned toward the attack of the G?
