I've actually always dug the look of a blacked out LP custom, not enough to be buying this one though.

Just kinda weird. No EMGs but it does have long tenon (which I don't think an '89 would have?). Seems like an oddly inaccurate recreation. I'm sure it'll sell out but to god knows who.

I guess he uses/used it for Fade to Black, might explain the piezo/Fishman stuff in it probably works better with the t-type pickups for that.

He has been using it live since 1989 mostly for fade to black & maybe 1-2 other songs.

He bought his LP Custom here in Green Bay at Henries Music during the Justice tour. I remember being there at the show seeing him playing it and my buddy told me that he had just bought it there. Which bummed me out because I really wanted it, lol. At least this is what I was told.

Wasn’t there someone here that got into a bidding war with someone famous and thought he could outbid an artist on a guitar? And then the famous artist did a live stream with the guitar on YouTube after he won the bid
