BUT I STILL DON'T HAVE A FREAKING CAB CABLE!

guys, I'll go to my local guitar store, how should I ask for the cab cable? just like that? a Cab cable? Because someone around here told me a guitar cable won't do the job.

ask for speaker cable or unshielded cable or cab cable.

Buy the one which has the biggest diameter.

Oh sorry, another thing.....I see that in the back of the Einstein there's the 8ohm output (y cab is 8ohm) but there are TWO 8ohm outputs (2x16) Where should I plug the speaker cable? in only ONE of the outputs? or will the speaker cable have split plugs?

I'm know it's an extremely noob question, but I'm a cab noob

I want to explain what Peter wrote (of course he is correct )

Your output transformer has three (incl. ground four) legs: for 16, 8 and 4 Ohm.

The five jacks are wired as follows:

16 - one jack - for a single 16 Ohm cab
8 - two jacks, wired in parallel - (use either one) for ONE 8 Ohm or (both for) TWO 16 Ohm cabs
4 - two jacks, wired in parallel - (use either one) for ONE 4 Ohm - or (both for) TWO 8 Ohm cabs

ok?


Cable diameter: 2.5mm² is standard for "high end" speaker cable - as short as possible . . .
(except Hifi - then you need a diameter of 1meter with orientation and whatnot )

Haha, awesome, the baby brother of my rig (100w Einstein into Framus 4x12)!!

Great amp, and those Framus cabs sound good.

Now, for ohmage, if the cab has a mono/stereo switch in the back make sure that it's in mono mode, then connect up either of the sockets to the equivalent rated one on the back of the head. The sockets will have the rating written above/below them for stereo and mono operation so you can't really go wrong.

Um, nothing that I'm that confident with.... let's put it like that. I don't have a video camera and the recorded clips I've got aren't finished & are generally iffy.

But yeah, your rig'll sound great. The amp is very responsive to how you play, and you'll certainly find yourself upping your game to take advantage of this.

You want mean? Yeah, mode 3 does 'mean' in spades... and the meaner you play the meaner it sounds!

I actually don't play mean stuff THAT much (for fun and stuff) but I'm sure it'll wreck my apartment when I load mode 3 and play it with my EMG loaded Fender!

But I REALLY REALLY want to play this amp with my John Mayer Strat (single coils) and my Edwards 57 goldtop......MAN I bet it'll be a blues/pop rock machine! ssssssmoking!!
