hey guys,

i have a korg dtr-2000 rack tuner. I know it should be plugged into "tuner out" on the back of the herbert? Where do i plug into the tuner? also does it matter what type of cable i use?

How do i set it up where i can play the amp, then mute the sound just to tune the guitar?

Thanks

Plug into the input with a standard guitar cable. You can use the Mute function on the amp via MIDI to tune.

Unfortunatley, I dont have a midi footswitch.

I set it up the way you said and tried flipping the mute switch on the herbie, but it didnt work. i cant seem to figure it out.

There is no "return" of the tuner's signal to the Herbert - the tuner output is just a parallel signal path and has nothing to do with your guitar signal going to you speakers. So plug the "tuner out" into the input of your rack tuner. You should be able to tune yor guitar and if you push the "mute" switch on your Herbert, the guitar's signal should go to the tuner only. If it's not working, try to plug in your guitar into the tuner using the same cable to find out if the "tune out" isn't working properly
