Korina Explorer reissue

I’ve eyed those suckers a long time but $10k…come on man…

The only guitar I’ve paid that much for was an all original 1969 Les Paul Custom

More power to the peeps that feel the price tag is justified

Could it possibly be that the wood is imported? I know it's African Mahogany but is it actually sourced there?

For that money I'd buy a Banker...or two...
and it's a genuine replica with custom specs

Not exactly the same thing I know but reverend makes guitars out of korina in Korea and sells em for $800 to $1500

I’m all for made in America but $8500ish on top of what a reverend costs because korina is “expensive” according to Gibson?

I don’t know man, I have a tough time believing it

The Chinese Epiphones look like they have a thick poly coating on them. They almost look like they were dipped in a vat of finish.

I was looking at them and noticed they seemed to be shinier than normal. I see that on a lot of actual gibsons as well that always bugs me

Fender does it too, it drives me nuts.

It's really hard to find guitars that have a finish that doesn't look cartoonish anymore

It’s always the first thing I notice when I walk into Sam Ash (rip) and look at the les Paul’s on the wall, like why are most so glossy?? Give me the faded matte please.
