bought this amp from JerEvil. it wad made for kerry king before he got a deal with marshall. heres a pic along with the rest of the family and a quick clip i made :thumbsup:

I Dig it. Unique as fuck. The only Krank I would ever own.

This was the ONLY good use I ever got out of the stock Krankenstien I had.

I saw a local guy using one live and it actually sounded killer. It was years ago and I can't remember wich one but it was not the Krankenstein.
 
I dig it. I love my original Krankenstein, it's one of the BADDEST Amps I've ever played. Raw is the best word I have to describe it. My Uberschalls have taken the 2nd seat many times to the Krank. In me experience most people that talk down about Krank have not owned one, or haven't played it through the correct cabinet. My Kranknestein through other cabs isn't nearly as gnarly. Same with my Uberschall, put it through other cabs and it seems pretty normal.

Actually, I changed my mind, that Krank sucks! You should sell it to me so you don't have to deal with how bad it sucks anymore.
 
Sidenote: The Krank Chadwick amps are actually very underrated IMO. Mostly because they are an Alan Chadwick design and stray very far from the typical Krank nu-metal stuff.
 
Anyone else surprised to see Krank still in business?
 
The original rev 1 series with the sweep set properly was pretty killer for the $1100 i paid for it new.

It is a copy of a sovtek mig 100 wih some tweaks. Basically a 6l6 jcm800 with mods.
 
i had a working pass to ozzfest 05 and get to check out a lot of bands rigs, i remember a lot of people who also went commenting how great certain bands sounded using their 5150s, little did they know the bands they were talking about were actually using kranks lol.
