These pickups are crazy!! Thin as a couple of picks stacked together with a mini transformer on the side. CRAZY hot output with huge amounts of headroom and clarity. No idea how these work but I like them.

I love me some Fluff.......Is that straight into the DVmark?

:emofag: :grim:

There is an overdrive in front of the DV Mark but otherwise yes.

can you compare it to some other pickups that you have had in the past.

I have always been interested in the humbucker types but was never a fan of the lace singles that i had in a fender ultra in the past!

I've never really considered Lace pickups for metal. Pretty much dismissed them as strat pickups.

They don't sound bad, though.

FINALLY A GOOD CLIP OF THESE! lol thanks!

iv been thinking about getting the normal version but would you be able to tell me how these compare to a gibson 500T? ive heard that they dont have tons of tone(in a good way), like a clean slate to sculpt

great video!

Sounds great man! I think this is the best sounding clip I've heard from you yet...

Comparing these Lace models with other pickups is hard to do. Honestly these things sound EXACTLY like how your guitar sounds acoustically. My SLS, for example has lots of low mids and bass not not tons of high end, and the DI tracks sound almost identical to when I sit and play the guitar acoustically. VERY hot but with shitloads of headroom (thats the best I can describe it).

I have some Lace Fender pickups in my Strat and the Alumitone humbuckers are nothing like them.

I agree that tone is awesome. Those pick up sound great. Cant wait to hear what them beardcombers sound like...

It's funny, I've always like their singles in strats, Clapton used them for a long while. When the alumitones first came out I thought they looked too futuristic for many folks, maybe in something like a Backlund, but in a Charvel? These deathbuckers (the name saying "we're trying too hard") actually sound good, and the black looks better than chrome for sure. I'm not sure I'm their market but if it's a good product then that's awesome.

Great video fluff!

I reall like that pickups, here are two more videos :

Cool vids guys.

@fluff: have you tried the Lace 'buckers in split mode? Kind of curious, this is what I read on the Lace site:

Another Deathbucker™ advantage is there is no volume drop in split mode and working as a single coil; noise is virtually eliminated in comparison to standard old style humbucker designs.
