A three hour Jam session with brief interludes of songs.................................:Dit was quite obvious as I watched The Song Remains the Same today.......I'm still impressed with how John Bonham and John Paul Jones held it all together throughout all that meandering.........Bonham definitely was way ahead of his time........

I should be getting tickets to the Get the Led out show near me in February since I wasn't into Zeppelin when I was younger. I hear these guys do a pretty good approximation in just about every metric of Zeppelin in their prime.....

Wife and I have seen Get the Led Out a few times now, they are fantastic!
When I have the turntable going, Song Remains The Same is usually in the rotation…

I agree - I watched that recently as well on Amazon a week ago or so. The rhythm section definitely had their act together. Page actually played a bit better than I recall but I think he was probably pretty strung out at this point and Plant's voice seemed shot by then. I think they definitely could have used some editing to the set and the songs but that was their style I guess coming out of the 60s.

Eh, 72 I’d say was their last year as a great live band, even by TSRTS I think they were on the decline, by 75 the really great live shows seem few and far between, some of those earls court shows are horrific.
