Over the Years i made a few "Mesa Rectifier Style"-Clips. I just added the Lenz to it.

Lenz is straight in with an angled Single SM57/G12K100/MF400B.

Mesa is heavily boosted with an angled Single SM57/Celestion V30/ Mesa Rectifier Standard (Original Leather Wrapper).

Bogner is Boosted with SM57/MD421/Bogner Überschall Rearloaded Cab

Marshall is heavily Boosted with a straight (slightly off-centre) Single 57/G12K-100/MF400B

Yeah, that would be fun.
It's a matter of taste of course. Did you listen with Headphones?
Hell no. I was at work so on phone, but i will check it out through the studio headphones later to see. They really all sounded good. And since i just played an uber and a dual rec, i had a little basis to get the idea

Listening with studio headphones, the Mesa Dual rec sounds best. Obviously, the Bogner has the most uppermid content, but the mids are a bit weird there.
You dial in amps a bit different than I do, but they all sound good.

Thanks. I just added a Boosted Lenz Clip. I'm going for a Sound that i enjoy playing alone, that also works in Rehearsal and fits nicely in a Mix recorded.
The Lenz is very tweakable. It keeps its Core-Sound but it has a lot of options. The Mesa too. Lots of variables in recordings...
Maybe i'm buying one of the new Ibanez TS808 HW V2. The Duality DX is a bit too modern and hot for the Lenz. And i think the TS808 is color matching with the PTGate. I guess that's a Men's Handbag thing. :D

I had the og handwired ts and it was great. But i have heard great things about maxon also

gat dam, that recto and uber are giving me gas.
What i forgot to say: I did not like the Über Sound in the Room that i had dialed in in the Clip and the Mesa with its matching Cab was always a bit scratchy, hollow, boomy and fizzy at the same time. The Über (and the Rev F in Vintage mode) with a Marshall MF280B had some serious punch though. And so does the Lenz. It punches hard.

the Lenz sounds fierce man. I wish they weren't so rare, would love to try one.

I've looked at the possibility with a few builders. If I see one local that is reasonable, I would consider it, but they seem to be going for big money these days as well.
I paid 850.-€ for my Marshall and 650.-€ for the mod + shipping.
