I want one of those Purple Joe Satriani models! Here's mine, Steve Vai Pia

That powder blue Pia is calling my name, but not sure if/when I'll be able to acquire one.

I feel the JS models are the best looking all around and were some of the first guitars I have ever lusted after as a beginner.

Mine is my SZ2020

It is a substantial guitar. I changed the pups to 36th Ann. in the bridge and EJ in the neck.

my favoutite ones were JMP P3 and J. Custom

I have always wanted an iceman bro....killer collection!!!!

The P4 camo Petrucci had the best neck shape and feel of any guitar neck I have played. I had a custom guitar made with as close to those dimensions as possible on the neck.

That would be my # 1 choice, but I’d have to move that switch. Heh

Iceman's look like they weigh a ton though I've never played one

Had an RG 1570 many years ago, sold it for a LP. Now I wish I had it back. This summer I bought a budget RG421 and an S521. What wonderful guitars for a budget price,

They're no heavier than a V or Explorer type guitar. It really depends on the wood they're made from. One downside though is they do suffer from some neck dive, but it's manageable.

Some players crap on the thin necks and prefer a beefier feel, I respect that, I have some guitars in that variety too, but man, as I age and deal with shorter playing sessions due to hand/wrist stiffness, damn the ego thing, I don't care, the necks on my two 'Nez are a breeze and rarely cause discomfort, allowing me to play much longer, etc. They also happen to sound great!

Put a pic of all your amps up . See the rest Z. Look sweet
I'll try to get a pic of my amps up soon. Trying to get everything set up the way I want has been a work in progress. I need to do a little rearranging this weekend; hopefully for the last time. I'll post something after that.

I love the old 540s’s. Like a dummy ive sold them off and like everything else, harder to get these days.
Still rockin' my first 'expensive' guitar (~$1300 was a lot a dough for a 17yr old at the time), an S540FM TTS.
Did swap out the pickups a few times; I settled on a ToneZone (b), Fast Track 1 middle, Air Norton neck.
Great, versatile guitar. Wouldn't mind to add another...S-like type, with a natural flame or spalted top.

there's someone local to me on craigslist who had one of these listed for $650 and it sat there for weeks. I couldn't believe it. It's gone now but I don't know if he actually sold it or just decided to keep it.

Speaking of Ibanez, does anyone remember these little guys? That Powerlead was the first pedal I ever bought. A bit back I got nostalgic and tracked down the whole set. They're notorious for having dodgy footswitches, but it's a simple fix of swapping out a 1 capacitor to a higher value and presto, problem solved.

Yep, never cared for those TBH.
I did manage to get the whole vintage 9 series complete, including the illustrous ST9 and OD9.
I also got a re-issue TS9, so I could mod that one, and leave my '81 original (with box and manual even) untouched.

Anyone play the new rgts? Really curious about them doing neck thru guitars.
