Got a Diezel Lil Fokker on a trade. This thing has some balls. I am running it through two EVH 4 X12 cabs. I was thinking of running it through my Mesa recto cab with vintage 30 speakers in it and trying that out. Just trying to find the right fit since I own a bunch of cabs. Also, I was wondering if anyone has preamp tube recommendations ? I like to keep extra tubes around. Any that work better then others with this amp ? I believe the original tubes are in it. Diezel has a great unique tone going for it. I can't really pin point where the main voicing may have originally originated from. I also noticed the effects loop is one of the most transparent effect loops I have ever heard. It kind of makes me want to go buy another Diezel head of some kind with all the bells and whistles on it. Thoughts ?

It's a big, heavy head. Other than that it's awesome. The clean channel is totally legit and nothing even has to be said about the dirty channel because it easily lives up to expectations. Tried some Engl premium tubes just for fun but did nothing to convince me there is any real upgrade over the stock tubes. It loved Celestions but not so much my WGS Vet 30 cab or Jensen Jet cab.

Ill echo v30 type speakers. also likes my jensen electrix lightings. Killer head, keeping mine. Huge and heavy ill agree for two channels.
