Subject: [U2_recording] OT: Line 6 M13 Pro

Thought I would share this with everyone. One of the Line 6 product managers is on Harmony Central, and he contacted me about a Verbzilla issue. I then asked him if they are going to ever come out with the DM-4 Pro (like the Edge's), and replied that they are not, but they are planning a rack version of the M13. Seems a little redundant with the PODs they have now, but might be worth a look down the road.

From a U2 forum. Just in case those of you that use the M13 or are planning on it with the M4.

Sounds pretty cool, although the 3 options of each type thing the M13 did might be a little tougher in that format. You'd still need a floor controller too, along with something for a lead boost in the loop.

There's also lots of competition in general here... gotta make sure the M13 rack + floor controller is significantly cheaper then say a G-System, or hell the Nova (although you can't run that 4CM).

If you have a rack setup, then you might have a midi pedal already. could still do the 4cm in a rack, I run 2 M4s into a GCX switcher along with my Mod50 head for use of 10 mods (20 Ch) and a TC G system. I would like to see how they make the unit and if they add anything. I think I would like it better than the Axe-Fx. Just need effects not amp sims.

That is very cool. I would buy that day 1 when it comes out. I have heard a lot of clips of teh Rebel with the M13 and these two units go well together. A rack with an M13, GCX switcher, my BB, Zen and Fat Boost is all I would evr need. That will be SWEEEET!!!!

Did they maybe give a hint when?
