Arggh! The more I hear this, the less I like it , lol yet yooze guys say it's good. It cuts yeah, but I wish it had a touch more sag in the mids. Think I've found that though since this recording (picked up a BB Preamp, working well so far for different flavored mids, little smoother 
).
Double, it's a 2009 QR, stock tubes, loop master volume at around noon, front panel vol at 10:00. The speaker mic'd up is a well worn in G12H30 Anniversay (with an sm57 and e906, though I'm tiring of the sm57 and think I want an MD421 II to pair with the 906). The rest is normal QR fair....1st Gear, OD 2, gain pretty high, boost pedal up front for a little more hair. Guitar is a Charvel with a really old Super Distortion.

LOL, you are your own worse critic. Thanks for the info, sounds much better than the QR I owned.
