I'm looking to replace the Duncan JB in my Strat for something lower output and one that will allow the natural tone of the guitar to come through better as opposed to imposing its own sound. .
I've got Lollar Blackfaces in the mid and neck.

I'm thinking about a Low Wind Imperial for the bridge, as recommended by Lollar , has anyone tried one ?

I need to cover all musical styles as I do a few sessions as well as live work.

I have that S/S/H configuration. I like the Imperial low wind. It's not a drastic volume jump when using the humbucker from the Blackfaces.
It compliments them very well.

I was thinking about doing the same thing, good to hear it works well. The JB is great for some stuff but kind of a one trick pony. Thanks,

How's the split tone in position 2 ?

That's the tone I'm most interested in.
