I got a package from california today... wonder what it might be!

It was a big box and when I opened it I saw this:

Now that looks interesting...

It is such a nice autumn day today here in Sweden ;)

Then I took it inside to show it to my daughter - I think she likes it!

Darn, I forgot to buy fuses so I can't plug it in right now...

I will keep you updated and write some more about it!

By the way it's John Czajkowski's old amp and its loaded with a SL and an Erect module.
Thanks again John! :D

Why doesn't it have fuses?

Did I miss something?

Well it was setup for 120V but in Sweden we have 230V so I have to change the fuse before i fire it up!

Man what a nice day that must have been. I remember that feeling pulling it out of the box. Kudos to John for being cool about shipping international to help spread the Egg Love world wide. (Nice packing job there John).

A happy ending to a happy story! thanks for being so patient with the shipping fiasco...

FedEx lost accountability of the box for over a week! They couldn't find it in the system for 8 working days, then finally it just showed up at my house again. I was on the phone to them daily for 5 days just going nuts wondering where this thing was and fearing the worse...the dreaded FedEx claim...and having to re-order a head...thus prolonging the agony for MkIV. it turned out that they recently got a new postal code for his area in Sweden that stumped the computer, and nobody at FedEx could take the initiative to enter the city into the computer and write in the old code. It's why I call them the FedEx monkeys  :scared:  At least it got there the second try! ;)

Yeah, that whole FedEx story was quite a farce...

Anyhow, I just fired it up and did some serious riffing after changing the fuse and setting it to the right voltage. Well I couldn't really crank it loud enough to really enjoy the SL module, but I feel that there is a very nice vibe to it. The Erect sounded great even at low volume and as an old Recto maniac I must say that I wasn't dissapointed! It's not a dead ringer for my old 2-chan Dual Recto but it has a similar vibe and I think this might be my "to go" module for now - cleans up really nice as well.

Now I just have to decide which speaker cab I should use for it... Got a couple of Marshalls: 1960B, 1961B, 1982B and a 1922 loaded with G12-65's and an Ibanez Thermion 4x12 (V30's).

Sure feels nice to be a member of the Egnater family!

Thanks again John for all the effort you had to put in when the FedEx guys messed up...
