Hi folks! Lution here. You may know me from the Bogner Forum and TGP Forum.

I'm looking for a Cameron modded HG Jose 50-watter, preferably a JCM 2204.

I know these are few and far between, but let me know if you or someone you know is looking to sell.

Thanks and looking forward to actually owning one sometime hopefully soon.

EDIT - 6/23/09 - I have SOLD THIS CAMERON AMP SO DON'T PM ME ABOUT IT - THANKS

Found one!!!

It will be here hopefully Thursday!

You can't see them in that pic, but the blue chickenhead knobs are on the backside. Cameron Modded Jump-O-Lene!! So much Smoother take off and landing. My legs practically jump themselves on this thing!

So did you get it yet?

Yep!! I got it and have been jamming on it most of the day and evening. I gotta tell ya, for 50 watts this baby gets pretty loud! This is easily the loudest 50 watt amp I've ever played. It sounds pretty good at lower volumes too. So far, I'm torn. I love how nice and dark sounding it is. It is more open sounding than I personally prefer.... not to mention the fact that a new possible gig offer came my way shortly after I purchased this Cameron amp and I might have to go after a different style of amp to suit it.

I might possibly have to let her go and sell it.

I'll give it another day and then... it may go up for sale this weekend. It's a 2-channel mod too.

You gotta tell a brother about it and show a pic. Also, who owned it before. This helps us Cameron guys know a bit about it. ;)

I bought it from Jason (J.B.) to help him pay some bills. A Really nice dude!

It's a Cameron 2-channel JCM 800 2204 50 watter.

Channel 1 is a CCV (the footswitch it came with says "CCV"). Channel 2 is HG Jose (also on the footswitch). I believe JB got it from Nick. I'll post some pics tonight or sometime tomorrow.

I'm stoked to finally be playing an actual Cameron. It's too cool!

that is actually a ocean mod on the front and a low gain jose on the back.... I LOVE THAT AMP , enjoy it!

i actually wrote ccv because I was originally told it was a ccv channel on the front... that was incorrect according to Mark, He was able to confirm that it was a version of the ocean mod.... That amp is dark and MEATY ... the bottom is real big on that one...Hit it with a boost and you'll be in love...

Ahh, that makes sense now! It's cool! The Jose channel gets almost as much gain as the Ocean channel even for being the low gain mod.... and the Ocean channel has quite a lot of gain!

That pretty much sums this amp up, Nick. Big Bottom Open and Meaty!

yea...the jose is less compressed and tighter and has more bottom...

Lution, give it a few days before selling it. Cameron's amps are not one trick ponies. Also, tinker around with the preamp tubes and power tubes if needed. I am sure JB and Nick had it sounding killer though.

I wanted to buy that amp at one time. I really want to play it though. I have played 3 of Camerons Jose modded Marshalls and mine seems to have the most gain. In my videos, I have the gain set to about 80%...and you can hear how thick and saturated it sounds. The other Jose's were low gain and needed a pedal to get to where I "need" them to be :D . I am still floored that my amp was passed around to 5 or 6 people  . Nick, you would love it...shit, you would love both of my Camerons...

Dave you should come by the studio! AMP MADNESS! :D I'll post pics....

Dave, Thanks for the advice. I will give it a few days. I already hear big differences with each switch, push pull knob, and tweak. Unfortunately, this new gig may have to force me to let this one go pretty fast. The gig is with a funk band. I'm sure they'd love it if I showed up strapped with a Cameron amp.

Thanks for all the info guys.

that amp can do incredible funk and blues tones dude... Try the back channel with the gain low and master cranked... if you have a p90 loaded guitar forget it... insane... seriously. Like Dave said, I think alot of people don't realize how versatile these amps are.

 I agree. The first time I played my Cameron modded plexi I thought to myself "There's gotta be more than this one thing" I walked away from the amp and when I came back to it 2 days later after about 35 minutes, I figured out where I wanted to go with it and what it could do. A little devil in a headshell.

My Camerons have a shitload of gain. They get very saturated at about noon to 1 O'Clock. Even in low gain mode, they still saturate pretty quickly.

And this is coming from a certified high gain whore.... :D
