Ha, yep that would be the one.... I just find I like the SL and EG3/4 too much and don't really need the higher gain modules. I must be getting old or something...Liking less gain and less agression. If I need more gain, I boost with a pedal.
Unfortunately, I have trouble with Ibanez's thin necks. I like a fatter profile--need something to grab on too.

The EG3/4 is my go to module. Never sounds bad and works well with all my guitars. In the M4 with the SL, VX and Dlx, I have a wide base of sounds that can cover anything I need. I'll tell ya what, the SL boosted with an OCD can get pretty grindy without too much high end zing or compression. The EG3/4 does the more modern, more compressed stuff.
