Hi all again! My buddies and I have a little garageband (little meaning a bassist, drummer and guitarist). We'd love to have a loop of clean guitar tone, like simple chords, where i can play over with a more distorted channel 2,3 or 4 of the head. is that possible do to with just one amp (Diezel Vh4). if so, what loopers are people using out there and what do you like about it?
thanks!

If you put the looper in the FX-Loop you can record clean tones and switch to a dirty channel, the looped chords stay clean.
The Boss RC2 does the job perfect.

+1 that's exactly what I do.
Another +1 for the rc2. Probably the smartest pedal purchase I've ever made. Convienent for remembering riffs and layering/solo work.

so if i put the the looper in the global loop and record the loop in channel 1, i can playback loop and it will still have clean tone while i'm soloing against it in channels 2-4?
