Lost albums worth discovering

This is the most heavily rotated album on my Spotify these days.

Annihilator's "Never Neverland".

Admittedly, there is a lot of filler on this album.

But man, these six songs are killer:

And I get it, the production is horrible. Guitars sound so digital.

But the songwriting is top notch. And Jeff Waters is probably one of the best of the soloists from the heyday of thrash.

If you want to hear "better" versions of these songs, check out the live album In Command.

That has songs off this album as well as Alison in Hell. Definitely worth a listen.

This is a good one. Manowar's Triumph of Steel.

A much reviled album because of the album opener.

Lots of occult references and hints throughout, stuff like "I wear a secret talisman, I make a secret sign" and "Open magic doors".

Some of the best metal vocals ever too, right up there with Halford and Dickinson.

Just type your favourite metal genre full album and your favourite decade of music on youtube and unleash the heaven.

Not sure if 'lost', but there's not a lot of talk about it...and having met him in person (he signed my denim vest 😎 and because he was drunk, he wrote his own band name wrong! Exicter 😆), John Ricci hardly uses palm mutes, yet still brings TEH METAL. (Unlike Dinesh... 😜)

Stand out tracks: I Am the Beast, Sudden Impact (kinda rehashing 'Violence and Force' though) & Long Live the Loud

Haji's Kitchen's debut album is a banger no one talks about; great AIC-esque vocals and some mindblowing guitar solos
